I have been using Eclipse for last 4 years.
Might be nitpicking but it looks a bit sloppy…
Yeah, the full name is "Intellij IDEA", please. I'm using it for the last 4 years and will keep on doping it.
Whops, my mistake - "IntelliJ IDEA"
hi, i uses both Eclipse and Netbeans ;)
Your poll might be more useful if there was an option for all the folks that don't use an IDE. I use emacs because I've found it to be a "natural extension of your brain" while Eclipse and Netbeans to be completely unintuitive. I've found that the simplest editing task in Eclipse takes me much more effort than in emacs.
Used to use JBuilder at work and at home. (Too pricey)
Now I have to use IBM WebSphere at work.
I use IntelliJ IDEA at home by choice.
right now, i am using Netbeans for the last 1.5 Yrs.
However, I have also used IntelliJ IDEA for 1.5 Yrs.
I'm using Netbeans 5.5.1. It's excellent IDE.
Have been using Eclipse for several years now and it's amazing. The only downside is its performance problems on larger projects. But that's easily offset by all it's features.
I am using Eclipse for the last 5 Yrs.
Now I'm starting to use also NetBeans 5.5.1.
However, I have used Visual Age for Java for 5 Yrs (before to start using Eclipse) and I miss it a lot ;)
Even though v6 has been out for a while, I'm still developing in IDEA IntelliJ 5.1.2 — pretty-much the best balance between features and speed. When the folks at IDEA get their act together and concentrate on performance (and only performance) and release a v6 version that is as fast as v5, I'll upgrade. That said, IntelliJ is by far the best IDE I've ever used by a large margin.
