						 <p>Even though v6 has been out for a while, I'm still developing in IDEA IntelliJ 5.1.2 — pretty-much the best balance between features and speed. When the folks at IDEA get their act together and concentrate on performance (and only performance) and release a v6 version that is as fast as v5, I'll upgrade. That said, IntelliJ is by far the best IDE I've ever used by a large margin.</p>

						 <p>Have been using Eclipse for several years now and it's amazing. The only downside is its performance problems on larger projects. But that's easily offset by all it's features.</p>

						 <p>Your poll might be more useful if there was an option for all the folks that don't use an IDE. I use emacs because I've found <strong>it</strong> to be a "natural extension of your brain" while Eclipse and Netbeans to be completely unintuitive. I've found that the simplest editing task in Eclipse takes me much more effort than in emacs.</p>
